Richard B
I need to modify an early X-Member to take a later style 1-3/4" SU manifold. Where do I drill the new holes? Can anyone please give me the centre to centre distance new holes to old holes?I know that the later X-Member has the earlier holes partialy punched. Also am I correct in saying two distance pieces on O/S and none on N/S.Yes I'm converting the MkII 2000 Estate to take a late 2000TC engine. James
You just need the two spacer pieces on the off side.We put the holes about an inch closer to the wing? It's obvious when you come to do it
Alex
Richard on my mk2 it fitted without drilling the holes or adding spacers
Richard B
I tried to take the air box off in situ and there is not enough room. This was with the engine fitted to the earlier position. :(
