Nick Jones
Looking at the photos, your sills are completely shot so it seems likely that your tub has sagged. It's also possible that the A-pillar has moved. Looks like the tub is on the chassis but the chassis looks like it may have been painted, suggesting that the tub has been off the chassis. Best to do structural repairs to the tub before taking it off the chassis, but if it's put back on with the same spacers as before then you should still have a reasonable starting point. Best way to recover the situation is with adjustable door bars - the ones that can be fitted with the door in place. You may also need to get inventive with scissor kacs and blocks of wood if the A-pillar needs pushing back. A hard-top is a very useful thing to have to help set the windscreen surround position. This may help - it's a MkIV but similar principles apply http://sideways-technologies.co.uk/forums/index.php?/topic/7107-chriss-mkiv-basket-case/ Nick
