Chrome

My chrome head lamp covers have become very pitted, and the rest of the chrome parts are not as good as they could be.

Any tips on how to spruce these parts up?

New ones off eBay.  Not cheap though.

Even rechroming isn't cheap and don't go for cheap places only go for places that come by recommendation ;)

Oh and they won't be done quick, usually a few weeks, that's a sign that a place is good if they have a waiting list ;) my dad got some wheel trims rechomed for is zodiac cost him 200 for 4 trims!

Which car? thinking about it all the herald ones are a nightmare, and expensive if replaced with new. Refinishing may well be rather difficult as they are made of mazak or whatever it is called.

New Old Stock do turn up on eBay now and then, mine cost £150 for the pair complete with their Lucus boxes, nowadays the prices are nearer £150 each!
