SteveSpitfire1500 Posted October 1, 2014 Share Posted October 1, 2014 Was having a ferret around and found 2 wires taped up, uncovered them and they seem very similar to the horn connections. They seem to naturally bend towards an unused mounting plate near the bottom of the radiator, any ideas? I have bought a whole new set of wiring to fit over the winter as mine is basically shot after being butchered by the previous owner fitting an alarm then subsequently taking it out, but was just having a general look around before I start. DougBGT6 Posted October 1, 2014 Share Posted October 1, 2014 Certainly looks like a horn mounting bracket. How many horns do you have? One? Perhaps you once had two? SteveSpitfire1500 Posted October 1, 2014 Author Share Posted October 1, 2014 Thanks both, that would make sense, there's only one horn and a spare bracket on the other side similar to the one that mounts the horn on the nearside so I guess at some point one of the horns went missing? As the wiring is so bad the remaining horn stopped working last week, so not able to test the theory until I get round to swapping out the main harness .... that's going to be a fun weekend no doubt!
