COX1E Posted October 24, 2011 Share Posted October 24, 2011 Hello,I have a Spitfire 1500 and the wiper switch keeps turning around when you try to turn the wipers on. If you hold the back then you can get it to work, but as the MOT is coming up I want to get this sorted. I can't seem to get the switch out of the dashboard, as it keeps spinning. Is there a toold to grip the front? Pliers, and grips can't seem to keep gold of it.Any ideas or help would be appreciated. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
GT6 M Posted October 24, 2011 Share Posted October 24, 2011 I take it that its tight,!!if its come slack, then the peg at the bak will no fit into the hole, it wont take much to make it turn.get a thin powkin thingy,and push it in the hole in the nob, then push it,and pull it off.you can now get at the serated nut with long nosed pliers, slacken off alittle, and try and fin where it ..locks in place..then tighten up, simples as that.Marcus Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
