Temperature will be different so you need a variable one or know the temperature that you want the switch to switch at. Output of radiator or input - both will indicate that the radiator is not maintaining the temperature and needs some assistance. I have a variable Revoec in the bottom hose - nice solution but expensive (50quid) compared to modern switches from a scrappy.
