GigGleR
We are just in the process of fitting an oil cooler to my Mk1 2000 Estate (with the 2.5 lump in it) and I was just wondering if anyone had any recommendations as to where to mount the rad? just can't seem to find anywhere that quite right yet.Any thoughts? ??) Richard B
Install the cooler inside the front valance; run the hoses through the bulkhead by the expansion bottle.
Mj17
Inside the front valance is where the factory oil coolers went (and very Victorian hospital radiator it is too).
gilesdive
I've seen some people mounting it behind the bottom of the main radiator (not on a Triumph though). Not the brightest idea, as it then gets hot air blowing over it and so won't cool the oil very well. I'm sure you wouldn't do anything daft like that!
