Assuming you are running with a standard radiator I agree with previous comments. If you are running an aluminium radiator you may need to reconsider.

Generally the colour corresponds to the type of corrosion inhibitors added. Modern antifreeze chemistry also extends the working life of the coolant. With a used engine like our cars have I think it's good practice to change the coolant more often to flush out the rubbish that tends to collect in the system.

This is what I like about this Forum, You tinker around with the Beast in the Shed, realise there’s a question to be asked ! You go on the forum and you’ve been beaten to it and tha Knowledgeable people have answered Blue or Green! But not Red Thanks all.
