Tim Hunt Posted June 13, 2023 Share Posted June 13, 2023 We are moving to a flat in Barnstaple with completion on 1st August and have accepted an offer on Waysmeet. We are yet to exchange but all being well will be off to Devon late August/early September. This presents me with a problem, since Sue is unable to drive long distances and we cannot therefore take our two cars down in convoy. I have obtained three more or less eyewatering quotes to trailer the TR to Barnstaple and it occurred to me that there might be a better option. I wonder if anyone would be prepared to drive down in convoy and bring me back home to Holwell (SG5 3SS near Hitchin in Hertfordshire). The round trip from here would be around 480 miles, easily accomplished with an early start in a day by a hard core CT enthusiast - think of it as a pre-RBRR shake down perhaps or take your daily driver.
