Nick Jones
A friend has a very nice Mk 1 GT6 and last night he mentioned that he has problems with the connecting wire (Distributor to coil -ve) failing between the points connection and the grommet where the wire enters the distributor body.Looking at it, it's not surprising as there is only about 1" of it to absorb the baseplate movement (due to vacuum advance) and there isn't really room to loop the wire to help the situation. Design seems daft - or is it us? Perhaps there is a special trick or wire that solves the problem?Calling all Delco owners..........?!ThanksNick
Mac
Dunno about a special wire. Wire in mine looks dead old, there's a black sheath on it inside the dissy to protect it.
