npanne
Now this might sound like a stoopid question, but you guys must be used to those by now. When fitting Poly bushes to the rear trunnions, do you still need the two-part metal caps that are used with the plastic ones? I assumed that the poly bit was a straight replacement for the plastic bit, and the rest would be the same, but I got a polybush set and it only has the two bush parts (per side) and the metal tube that runs through the middle. Richard B
Never done that, but I would not expect you to have the endcaps. They are fitted in an 'attempt' to keep the sleeve dry and prevent water ingress to the tube. This is to stop it going rusty and seizing on the bolt. Presumably the new sleeve is stainless steel, and therefore not a problem.
MikeTeesside
I wasn't sure either, but I had some new metal end caps hanging about so I slapped them on anyway. Can't hurt.
