overdrive speedo drive

Hi

Doe's anyone know if you can get the speedo drive out of vitesse d type over drive ( in situ) .

held in with a spigot tipped bolt , may be a little stiff to extraxt as the o ring seal can grip well.
to remove it you may need to undo the  gearbox mount and lift the tail extention up quite high
take care as the housing is steel but the threaded portin is a soft brass , easy to damage the fine threads   if not drained you can loose a small amount  of oil    so be ready to  catch the drips      Pete
