Spit 1500 Diff in a 13/60?

Hi all, just a bit confused as to whether this will work?  Will the driveshaft and prop flanges need changing?  I fancy 3.63 instead of 4.11, you see.  Also, I could do a swing spring conversion at the same time.

The car has a 2 litre engine and O/D box from a GT6 fitted, so the higher ratio would make for a more relaxed drive..

All thought, hints and tips appreciated!

Cheers!

Should work no prob. I want to do the same (I have the same set up as you), and a chap in Norway already has done the mod.

I was told to avoid the 3.27, as it's possibly too long, and definitely too expensive, but don't take my word for it :)

And I apologise if I kill this thread... it's not my aim.

The 3.63 will have large flanges with 3/8" bolts on input and output. The 13/60 would originally have small flanges with 5/16" bolts all round. Don't mess around changing the diff parts, go to large flanges on the shafts as the 3/8" bolts are better able to handle the torque of the larger engines. The 5/16" bolts often loosen in service even with a 1300 engine.
Cheers,
Bill.
