Hi All

Anybody out there got a Two part Centre Boss to suit a 1960's Formula type Steering wheel?

I've got the Wheel but no Boss to fit it to A Herald/Vitesse?

If any ones got one surplus to requirements please contact me via the message board or with a private e-mail please?

Regards

Gary

Bob

Thats great, I should be able to recognize it from a photo, the Boss I need is two piece and clamps either side the Aluminium centre, with the two parts of the boss held together with three screws.

Will look out for the photo's.

put those two together......sell what is left.

Not cheap, but probably the quickest way to get there. Or I do know of a complete, brand new genuine etc etc wheel that is available.....

I think the boss is always the tricky bit to find. The wheels were common to many cars, but getting the correct boss is nigh on impossible.
It may be worthwhile getting a batch machined up, they would sell.

I think Bill (Rarebits) was on about doing this, I'd have one for sure if the cost was reasonable?

I suppose the Spline part would be the hardest bit to manufacture ::)
