david langrick Posted August 27, 2007 Share Posted August 27, 2007 For those of you familiar with the excellent 1969 Richard Burton\Clint Eastwood film "Where Eagles Dare" just a note to say the town and Castle scenes were filmed in a place called Werfen 20 km. south of Salzburg. We are going right past so a stop for a look at the castle is definetely on the agenda!!
