mpbarrett
In case anyone was thinking of getting a Sat nav for the 10CR there are some very good deals of refurbished models athttp://www.totalpda.co.uk/refurbished-gps.10119/The Tomtom 710 with full Europe maps looks good at £70.00! BTW some of the cheap sat nav do not allow you to load internaries which can be a bit of a pain I think the 710 does though.mikeshould have added that I have nothing to do with TotalPDA but have used them in the past, they seem to be an ok company. Nick Jones
Thanks for that. Was wondering whether to do a map update for my Garmin Nuvi 1340.... but seems that will cost at least £ 50 anyway (thieves!) and I don't really love it either (it couldn't find Luxembourg in the 2009 10CR!)Nick

jonnyk5614
Do what I did, pay £8 extra for Brian Blessed - he is superb! Also, tomtoms will do a spoken warning for POIs (i.e. fuel stations). In the currrent ones, you can set them to say "Petrol Station 1km, next opportunity (along route) 35km". Very, very useful with our small tanks. Saved my bacon once when the next one wouldn've been 130km!
