Updated car success rates

I now have all the info in from the 2013 10CR and can add this to the info from all the previous ones to give the following information on car "success rates".

Excluding where less than 10 of the particular model have taken part so far in order to give some kind of statistical relevance.

269 cars entered, 242 finished givinjg an excellent success rate of 90%
TR2-6              59 entered, 49 finished = 94.2%
Stag                 14 entered, 13 finished = 92.8%
GT6                  26 entered, 24 finished = 92.3%
TR7-TR7V8        22 entered 20 finished = 90.9%
2000/2500        65 entered, 58 finished = 89.2%
Dolomite/Toledo 17 entered, 15 finished = 88.2%
Herald/Vitesse    37 entered,32 finished =86.4%
Spitfire               36 entered,31 finished = 86.1%

Oops responsible for 50% of the TR7's DNF  ;D

I have tried to identify the most common problems but there's a wide variety of one offs really and I dopn't knwo the reasons for 9 cases but here'#s the ebst I can do.

Diff failure - 3 -  2 x GT6 and 1 Mk2 2000 saloon
Clutch failure - 2 - Stag and Dolimite Sprint
Gearbox failure/stuck in reverse - 2 - TR7 and 2.5PI Mk2 saloon
Driveshaft/wjheel baering/UJ - 2 - Herald and Spitfire
Headgasket - 2 Mk1 2000 and Domoite 1500HL

I supoose it is possible to say the majority of that is transmission of one sort or another.

Interesting that the RBRR success rate is something like 92%, so similar.

Amazed that when the 2015 event is run, it will be 12 years first since the trial run in 2003. That was a chuffing brilliant event!
