astrocan
Following on from my previous thread (Running Very Rich) I have got and used a rebuild kit for my Stromberg carbs. As I am getting near the point of reinstalling them I would like to know what to use as damping fluid in the top. I have memories of squirting 20-50 into the top of the SU on the old mans Maxi but as the viscosity will have a significant effect on the way the carb functions I would be intereted to know what other people use. valencia1
they will be ok on 20/50oil, but idealy you should use sae20 oil (as used in m/c front forksfor damping)
