chazchas
Hi, i am having difficulty finding a clutch for my herald, all the ones i can find are 6 1/2 inch plates, mine is 6 1/4 i have seen them but they are a arm and a leg, any one know to a reasonable priced one. thescrapman
Is yours a coil spring clutch rather than a diagphram clutch??May be best to convert to the later type, though you do need a few extra parts.CheersColin
Clive
Is yours the early spring clutch type? As opposed to the later diaphragm type?If so it may be viable to get a later flywheel and fit a diaphragm clutch. But that really needs the slave cylinder swapping too...The spring clutches are pretty rare though, but do turn up sometimes at reasonable prices. chazchas
yes the spring type, the system look quite new, but there's oil on the plate, so i would get away with just a plate

thescrapman
I suspect we both spend similar amounts of time pretending to be working.... :-)

I can try and get a number for you if you're interested?
