Rosbif
There are 'several' Triumphs in this 'barn' https://lesvoitures.fr/urbex-de-superbes-triumph-en-enfer/?fbclid=IwAR2sdotDznKIz39Fj0aCvLKBQXsYEXVD8zgjaS_-TFWd7eQJ85Qs8-Sulo0
Ben Hutchings
Goodness. That's a LOT of triumphs in one find. I can never understand how large finds like this remain undiscovered or forgotten for so long. I can't read French, does the article say why they were left for so long? For there to be that many together I would say they were from a dealership or garage specialising in Triumph, or a real fanatic! All the cars where the registration plate is visible have had the last part photo shopped so the last 2 digits can't be read. On the old format plate the last two digits were the department number where the car was last registered, which would have been a clue. Considering how popular TRs are here that is odd . . .unless the reason there are loads of spits, GT6s & Heralds is because nobody wanted them... frenchiemk2
Yes that a french find from the Urbex community... so they are very discret about finds because it's illegal to enter properties. The plates have been masked so that we have no clue about the area. only hint "former Triumph dealership". I think they were not that much in France. But look at thoses shelves full of parts! frenchiemk2
Other hints : huge place with exterior area. Tax stickers are 1986 inside and 1989 outside. Maybe abandonned since 1990 or close, could be large Paris area

Did you determine the years based on the colour of the vignette ( I'm not an expert on which colour was used for which year) or is your eyesight much better than mine? Rosbif
Yes and the amount to pay for each category varied depending on the departement the car was registered in. I think "77", Seine & Marne, was the cheapest and all the major car hire companies and transport firms had a registered address there so they qualified for their tax. Because all those vehicles paid tax the departement could keep the tax low, a nice circle.
