thescrapman Posted February 4, 2018 Share Posted February 4, 2018 Nice and easy on a J-type.Do you currently have reversing lights?If so even easier.There will be a pair of green based wires that are used for the reversing lights, take the 12V feed wire, either off the bullet under the bonnet, or the reversing light switch, and run that through the inhibitor switch, up and down the gearstck via the top switch and then to the solenoid, Other side of the solenoid should have a little short black wire on it already.The other side of the reversing switch goes back the other other bullet under the bonnet.If 13/60's do not have the 2 wires for the reversing light, run a wire from the + on the coil or the ignition switch to provide the 12v feed.CheersColin Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
