love Posted October 24, 2011 Share Posted October 24, 2011 i have 72 mk1 i have successfully changed auto to manual with a o/d j type box ,it came with the loom which has a diff rant conecter block and also the o/d switch so how do you wire all it up? thescrapman Posted October 25, 2011 Share Posted October 25, 2011 The J-type OD should run straight off the feed to the reversing light switch, which is hopefully what also goes through that connector block. Other thing that goes through it is the inhibitor switch for the starter, which will need a loop fitting as you no longer need it.It may be easiest to get hold of the correct connector, and graft it onto the end of the J-type sub-loom to match up to the main car loom.Or change both sides to bullets.I don't have a Stag wiring diagram to hand, so can't give you specific colours to connect together.CheersColin Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
