Drilling floorpan for corbeau seats

I have a pair of corbeau alpine seats that I want to fit in my 1500 spitfire, I've come to the conclusion that I'm going to have to mount them directly To the floorpan so I can actually fit in the car without my head rubbing on the roof! I'm having trouble working out how to drill holes through the floorpan in the right though, does Anyone have any tips or tricks To locate where to drill ?

Ive got corbeau classics fitted in my car(not for much longer as just rebuilt standard seats so selling the buckets).
I used cortina seat runners as theyre very low, this enabled me to have some fore and aft adjustment.
This also meant bolting to the floor was simple.....you could mark out the holes on cardboard/hardboard then transfer it across!
