Steve AKA vitessesteve
My go to check is Chris Witors list: https://www.chriswitor.com/cw_technical/head_applications_chart.pdfHowever your head is not on the list.3 3/8 inch = 3.375 inch
Richard B
3-3/8" is 3.375 which is the same as a 2.5S carb combustion head (with low compression). Can't see it fitting a 2000 unless with forced induction 😀
Nick Jones
The New Zealand Triumph Club reference I usually use has gone missing.........Possibly a US spec one (or other export market). Check the port spacings as some US spec ones have odd inlet port positions.Anything is possible with domed pistons Richard...... 🙂Nick
npanne
None of the six-cylinder engines that have passed through my hands (only three, but still) have had the “right” head according to the reference lists. At this age I guess it’s possible that they’ve all been swapped or machined in the past - or it’s possible that Triumph were mixing and matching whatever they had lying around in the 60s and 70s.
