John Bonnett
Aplologies for the question but I cannot see any obvious clip or fastening on the plug but it will not easily pull apart. So before I break it I'd appreciate some help. Pic attached. many thanksJohn
bodders1
There is no clip, just pull dirty white part out of the creamy yellow part. Try not to pull on the wires as this *will* break something.
Spitfire1500
Might be worth easing it out with gentle motion and a slot-head screwdriver in between each part.Kind regards,David
John Bonnett
Thank you bodders1 and DavidI've tried that and can't get it to shift. It obviously hasn't been apart for ages maybe not since the car was built and it could be just stiff. I can use more force but I just asked the question in case there is some form of retaining clip that I haven't spotted. I'll have another go at it tomorrow.regards John
firebobby
Try some WD40 into the clip and then get some grips and wiggle it free.

firebobby
When i say clip i don't mean clip, i mean the joint between the 2 parts, you may find that the brass connectors have gunged up and a spray of WD40 will help them let go
John Bonnett
In the knowledge that there was no latching clip on the wiper motor plug a bit of brute force and what goes with it won the day. I continiued on a roll and with a bit of heat applied I managed to undo the front inboard body to chassis screws without shearing them off so the day has got off to a very good start.Thank you all for your help and advice.
