Hi torque starter motor

Hi I have been trying to find to thread to tell me about the hi torque starter for the 4 cylinder and what vehicle I can get one from ? Canelys did do a kit but a cant find that and I can stretch to a new one.
Is it a Isuzu trooper but there are lots of different models and have to get it shimmed or something I can remember or second hand ?

I hope one or the other helps. LAST one seems to have more details, although unfortunately a lot of the links are to eBay, and of course the item's aren't there any longer. We may need to convince Bod to help out. Again. And Canleys, of course!

Just use the aluminium spacer from a saloon instead of the 4-pot spacer.

If you go for any of the other starters (Toyota etc) you will need to get parts machined.
