valencia1
put the car safely upon ramps or axle stands to remove lower bolt, top bolt should come out from above.
malcty
I have tried to get to the top bolt from above but a metal unit with two bleed nipples on top blocks most of the very small space available. I have used 9/16ths spanners which seem to be right. Thanks for help. Malc.

malcty
I have used the socket and extension bar on the nuts top and bottom. However I cant even get an open ended spanner near the top bolt. No room at all. Malc.

malcty
Thanks for all your efforts. I think this will be the only way forward. Just wondered if one of you "Triumph nuts" had encountered this situation before,if so save me re-inveting the wheel. All much appreciated. Malc. malcty
Its a vitesse MK11 convertible 1970. It was a saloon but converted with a new rear tub several years ago. Have had it checked by Dave from Picton Sportscars who gave it a very good report. So hopefully all should be normal.Like most things the book says under the two nuts, and several hours later still doing on!!!!!! Malc.
