Rumpith
My TR7 didn't have a fan when I bought it, and I suspect it had been fitted with an electric one which has been removed for another car. And now I know why! Silly money for these kits (around £114)Anyone know where I can get a CHEAP electric fan kit?

Lord Sorbington
Saw something about (modern) Rover 75s the other day, the 'leccy fans for them cost £400+!! Thats a years worth of Triumph 2000 repairs!!
Paul S
I've got two from a BX on mine, they fit neatly side by side, just need to fabricate a little bracketry to hang them off... they are more than enough to keep the car cool even competing then sitting for ages on a hot day..Just make sure you have a good alternator (more than the standard one), as they, uhmm, do use a 'little' bit of current..I'm using a 55 or 65 amp Metro alternator which does the job well, even with those fans, and spotlamps, etc etc more than enough juice..I sent Martin a link to an ebay seller who I got mine off, good service, and price, think it was about 40 quid from memory..edit:that's the alternator price.. fans were just from a scrappy, about ten quid..plus relays/cabling
