  1. Would anyone be able to supply me with the torques setting for the mains and big ends for a 2.5 pi? All of my manuals are for the GT6 so only cover the 2.0L. I'm guessing they could be the same but would like to check Thanks
  2. Richard Warr had the same issue in 2018. He had sealed his rank and a piece dropped off and blocked his fuel outlet. He ended up doing it in his co-drivers, Dave Maton, unprepared Mk1 saloon.
  3. A very good point regarding the rack mounts. I also had to take some off the mounting faces in order to get them to clamp enough to stop the rack moving.
  4. Only until your banned Tone! 😂😂
  5. Modifications is entirely up to you. Things like electronic ignition with correct coil and bypassing the ballast wire at the same time along with maybe a Huco low pressure fuel pump are nice upgrades in order to improve reliability. Standard brakes are very good, standard interior is comfortable. In relation to tyres a good quality premium brand is always best, Goodyear, uniroyal, yokohama, etc.
  6. Great to see quite a few people logged on this morning. Keep up the good work everyone!
  7. They are very narrow Bruce. The kit car community call them kidney crushers! Padding isn't bad. I think mine could do with a little more in the base but I've no idea how old they are or how much use they have had. I have seen another set that are the same as mine for sale except they have yellow piping and he wants £350 for the pair
  8. My mk3 GT6 needs the newly rebuilt limited slip diff putting back in, the crank thrust washers need attention and the gearbox tunnel needs extending a little more to make a good seal on the bulkhead as the type 9 5 speed gearbox has been raised a touch to accommodate the new extractor manifold and 2 1/4 inch exhaust system. This means the tunnel doesn't quite fit anymore. Then just tidying the interior and I may put the original passenger seat in as the Westfield wide body seats I currently have in the car are pretty extreme for such a long drive.
  9. Thanks Craig Shame it doesn't show on the mobile version of the website. Not alot we can do about that though I guess?
  10. Great Craig thanks. I've sent the local groups introduction wording to Clive.
  11. I notice that if you Google club triumph its still directing to the old site and the new one doesn't appear unless you type the Web address into the browser. I know @Craigsaid he'd made the site invisable to Google in the early days but should we now be looking to change that? Everytime I tell someone about the new site I have to include the Web address as they couldn't find it on their own.
  12. My LSD using a blackline unit and 3.27 gear set build by 2spec didn't go very well but it was the first one they had done. pinion bearings failed after 2000 miles and looked like they had been over loaded when setting the preload. the bearings we not Timkin but were good quality Japanize bearings. the carrier bearings were Timkin and still in good condition apart from all of the silver swarf generated by the failed pinion bearings making them unusable. The diff was very noisy from the start and the oil was silver on both oil changes. The diff has now been rebuilt using a crownwheel and pinion from a dolomite 1850 auto (3.27) and a full set of Timkin bearings. I haven't fitted it to the car as yet but will be doing so in about 3 weeks time.
  13. T D Fitchetts still have new old stock rear hatch seals that are a perfect fit unlike others who's are either too small or too large for the glass
  14. So 2 members from the Shropshire group have managed to login but their display names are their membership numbers not their usernames. Both only have one account each.
  15. OK that makes sense. A couple of them from the Shropshire group had access last November when we did the first lot of testing so I assumed at least those two would have had access. It's not an issue but thought it strange as a couple of guys from the Cheshire group have been able to login.
  16. Think I found it! So my files the DCIM, then gallery.. Bit of a faff but at least it can be done.. 👍
  17. I've been looking all morning at settings. Strange because I've not had the same issue before.
  18. I've asked 4 club triumph members of the Shropshire group to log onto the site to get their feedback. 2 have tried so far and can't get access. Is this because the site is still restricted to just the website committe.
  19. Not on my Samsung s6 android. Still doesn't give me access to my picture gallery. My choices are Camera, camcorder, voice recorder, my files and documents. Non of these contain my photo gallery. I'll see if it's to do with a phone setting.
  20. Is there a way of editing or deleting ones own reply or posts?
