I have fitted various electronic ignitions to my TR7's On both cars I kept the ballast wire and 6V coil. Just connect the live feed for the unit from a 12V source.

Yes, looking for a shop who can do a good quality respray. But moving the car from the Netherlands to the UK will be time and money consuming!

Hopefully the DHC is back on the road by then 🧐

It is on its way back home (well to a friends workshop) since last week. Should probably take 3 to 4 weeks. As soon as it returns I can start planning its repairs, and probably the discussion with the insurance. But I will remain positive for the time being 🤔

How old is your SaNav? If it is an older device you might have to cut up the various days in smaller sections. Or it might be the memory(card) is full.

If you are driving in an old oil smoking barrel you might have a problem when you bump into the law 🤪 -

In Germany you need proof that the vehicle is at least 30 years old and it should be in good condition. -
Hand brake turn to get the car in that gap?

Biggest loose nut is probably behind the 'wheel 🤪

I found a slightly loose track rod end lock nut during the recent check. So for peace of mind I'll have the car's tracking checked over later in the week.
