  1. Next time you want to book in SΓΌd Tirol, try the German language sites πŸ˜‰ There are a fair number of small hotels and B&B's available around the towns center. B.t.w. the place is called Bruneck πŸ€ͺ
  2. That indeed was my car 😎 With very black front wheels to show the quality of the pads ...
  3. So this must have been you judging from your avatar
  4. Can't remember a 2007 Tour of Wales. But I took part in Le Carrera Caledonia that year. The two "Taith O Amgylch Cymru" tours in 2013 and 2014 were cracking events too!
  5. I started the preparations for 't Kreng's biennial health and safety inspectionhttps://tr7beans.blogspot.com/2022/05/servicing-t-kreng.html
  6. You have to make sure that the central hoop (the one where the velcro goes 'round) is pulled down when you lower the hood. That should go automatically but often doesn't. As a result of which you can't get the front rail fully down. In the first picture you can see this part. In the second picture you can see that this part already is lagging behind. It should be point backwards.
  7. Picking up the thread (or should I say wire) again  https://tr7beans.blogspot.com/2022/05/fhc-resto-nr-141-inspecting-engine.html
  8. My first car was an orginal Dutch '80 TR7 DHC, which I bought in the summer of 1988 And I still enjoy it, though it has been transformed a bit over the years 😎 And it started a life long TR7 addiction πŸ€ͺ
  9. And make sure the middle hoop of the hood is pulled down before you drop the front real behind the seats. This has a tendency to "stay up"a little, preventing the whole assembly to fold down properly. This is how it should look when folded properly ...
  10. More driving fun today! https://tr7beans.blogspot.com/2022/04/more-driving-fun.html
  11. Happy birthday Bitch πŸ€ͺ https://tr7beans.blogspot.com/2022/04/happy-birthday-bitch.html
  12. New Castle > IJmuiden with DFDS could be an alternative!?
  13. I presume that should read adamdarbyshire@outlook.com?
  14. Done, see you on Tuesday if all goes to plan!
  15. On a TR7, fitted with SU's, the cam cover breather's connect directly behind the throttle disc. I can imagine there's a fair amount of negative pressure there when the engine is running. With the original FI set up the cam cover breather connects first to a small breather box, from where it is split to the throttle body and an emissions canister (not much pictures on the 'net)
  16. Trying to be there too. But there are a few hurdles to take first!
  17. Quite shocked by the news that Paul passed away! I'll cherish the fond memories I spent with him over the years! Farewell Burnerboy, you will be dearly missed.
  18. Time flies when you're having fun, and time for another little TR7 jubilee! It is 15 years ago today that I started my blog on the Club Triumph Forum. https://tr7beans.blogspot.com/2007/02/short-introduction.html
