  8. The car passed it's MOT with flying colours a month or so ago. That plus a basic check and a few short tours is about all I have done so far 🧐
  9. Presuming the brakes are also standard (HELP 🤪) • Are the anti rattle (spring) clips fitted? • In case the anti squeal shims are fitted, remove these and use a good quality pad grease as Clive mentioned.

  11. Tricky one. Many years ago I read that with the SD1 Vitesse calipers you needed Toyota Supra discs. But as I use a different set up up on my cars I haven't got a clue what other work is required (spacer, redrilling etc.)

  14. I did replace DOT5 (silicon) brake fluid many years ago when I got fed up with the soft pedal feel. My local brake specialist advised to flush the system with methylated spirit* before filling it with DOT4. It worked fine for me, and I didn't need to replace any seals in the years after. * hopefully I have translated it correctly 🧐

  16. Yes, machined the alloy bodies and fitted spindle bushes (from Southern Carburettors) But that was done locally by a friend over here in the NL.
