  1. Will it not unlock from the the inside Ben? Once lubricated it helps by pushing the key in and out without turning, to get the tumblers moving. Tony.
  2. And i bet he/she turned right?? Tony.
  3. It is repeated tomorrow night Wed 19th BBC4 Tony.
  4. Plus two for the Falkens, I don't find any of the premium makes good any more as they seem to be designed for economy more than grip so they are very hard. I recently put a set of Hi-fly budgets on my modern (made by goodyear) amazing grip wet or dry. Some people call cheaper tyres "ditch finders" but that is poor excuse for driver error. You know how your car is handling..... Just my take on it Kevin. Tony.
  5. You should be able to pop the tank back up by feeding a metal bar into the tank with a strong length of nylon rope or similar and attach to bench and pull like..... and it will pull the dent out. Did a few like that when customers had dropped bags of cement etc on them. Tony.
  6. Biggest problem with a dynamo Dave is that it can't charge fast enough. So it depends on the driving you do, short miles everything on = flat battery. Summer motoring nothing on.... all ok. If you charged your battery every night you would be ok, but it would be simpler just to fit an alternator. It is also completely reversable if you wanted to go back to dynamo, but i doubt you ever would. Tony.
  7. I have used Mannol oil in my ride on mower (don't laugh) and it's been ok. I bought in the spec and the price. A John Deere engine is expensive so i wanted a good spec. I would also use their 20/50 when my current stock stock of Morris run's out. Tony.
  8. https://www.chaseengines.co.uk This company are excellent, not the cheapest but you do get a photographic record of what has been done and specialise in classic engines. Long way to travel though. Tony.
  9. What area do you live in? Tony.
  10. Just renewed my policy with PJ 3 cars 35k agreed value £249 up a tenner from last year. Quite happy :) Tony.
  11. Check out the Amazon reviews Danny they look garbage. Farecla G3 is the best stuff i have found for removing scratches. If down to the metal? spraying is the only option. Tony.
  12. I wonder if this is fake news as well....
  13. Moderator note: Nope 🙄 https://www.reuters.com/article/uk-factcheck-greta-thunberg- chopsticks-idUSKBN22P2PV It is in the the joke section Ben :) Tony.
  14. Not sure where it is on the TR7 but it is a ballast resistor problem for sure. You could bypass it for good, but you will need a non ballast coil. Tony.
  15. Thats not very nice Bruce :) Tony.
  16. A touch of jealousy creeping in Bruce cos i'm not allowed to drive :( I should have stayed with points and condensor :) Tony.
  17. Our own whatapp group is working well for us. We can't have everything all at once Tim. Just making sure it wasn't my old system. Tony.
  18. You won't get much from our group leader Tim, he's always out testing his car and going on run's.....A touch of envy i think :) Just tried the local group section Tim and nothing works when you tap on the "more". Tony.
