TR20tc Posted February 22, 2007 Posted February 22, 2007 i own a 2000 tc from new[1976,lhd].does anyone know what is the max rpm for a normal engine.i am asking because i dont have a tacho and according to my [accurate] speedo,ican do max 50mph on 2nd and 75 mph on 3rd,which corresponds to 5600rpm[diff 3.7;1]
Deleted User Posted February 22, 2007 Posted February 22, 2007 5600 perfectly safe for a 2000.... they are safe to at least 7000 as standard but that is pointless as max power is around 4800-5000
