mikeyb
By driving lights - I assume you mean spotlamps that come on with the main beam? Apart from the odd vintage car, I have never noticed any with less than two - indeed would think that one may even be in contravention with the road Traffic Act! malcty
I fitted two driving lamps to my vitesse for the RBRR. Picked up current from headlamps but put in a relay and switch, so can have main beam with or without spots. Also makes front of car look a lot different and legal. Malc. Smallfry
Chris............It is the relays that should take the switching load. The lighting master switch should operate the relays............the load should only be a couple of amps at the most.
Richard B
The feed to the relay(s) wants to be direct from the battery (maybe via ther starter solenoid and a fuse). The master switch should (as someone said above) only switch the relay, probably uses a couple of milli-amps.
malcty
Chris.. The master light switch is still doing its old job. New circuit via relay and seperate switch. Good luck with it. Malc.
