Bruce_the_GT6
HiI'm sure this is a stupid question, but is there a trick to removing the pull/boost knob from the slider. The bolt to hold it has already been removed. Alternatively are heater slider plate and knobs meant to detach from the wood panelThanks
Velocita Rosso
The rectangular plastic knobs have allan key grub screws that screw in and hold them to the slider leversOnce the knobs are off the panel can then be removedYou will need very small allan keys, cant remember the size
DougBGT6
Mine is held on with an Allen screw. Despite being done up as tight as I can it drops off at the slightest tremor.
Pete Lee
Hi Doug, I suspect the thread has stripped, it's only a short plastic thread, recently stripped mine after 14 years, luckily I had a spare. Either that or its not on the correct slot.
Dannyb
If the thread in the plastic has gone then it is easy to tap a larger thread and make a small grub screw to fit

uksnatcher
Or the knob has been super-glued or suchlike to the arm by the PO?
