horn problems ..

Hi!

Now got another problem ..  :B

The horn('s) don't work anymore..
I just was thinking those bloody Lucas electrics (Prince of darkness), but wasn't the problem !
I tested with a multimeter and got 12v at the horn's when i pushed the horn switch..
So got the horn's off and tested them with a 12v power supply and... nothing  :-/

Hope when i buy new ones the sound will be sort of the same, i just loved that 'old/classic' sound  :P
I also think that the ones that where on the car are not the original ones ..
Also because they are made in france ! (can't be right!)

Take it apart Wim, clean the inside, especially the contacts, and the diaphragm. Mine stopped working, I had to drill out rivets to take it apart but once I cleaned everything it worked again. Just had to get some big rivets to put it back together again properly.

Cheers
