Matt306
My horn seems to be possessed in that it sounds when the wheel is turned. Clearly this is an earthing issue anyone have a clue as to where is the best place to look?
Rocky
Common triumph problem when the bushes in the steering column become worn. If you put weight on to one side of steering wheel they often toot then. If you remove the steering wheel and machine or grind a couple of MM off base of steering wheel hub this will usually solve the problem
junkuser
Try loosening the clamp on the steering column and moving to wheel up a few mm. Re-tighten the clamp.

djj
Do it properly - replace the bushes, they're cheap, takes 1 - 2 hours depending on experience. Some garages fail the play on MoT.The old ones are difficult to get out, so cut the rubber protrusions and push the old ones further into the column, then push new ones in. Matt306
I think i found the problem there was some paint scratched off and found it earthing.I em expecting a fail on the MOT as its the first time I will have taken it in many years so thats not much of a worry!
