Hazard switch on a Mk II gt6

hi all,
I'm trying to replace the switches on the GT6 (MKII) and have made a start with the hazard switch. The orignal had fallen apart a while back before I owned the car, so I've got little to work from.

i bought a replacment switch from Rimmers - and it has 6 contact points on the back. 1,2,3,4,7 and 8. However the wiring diagram I have suggests that I use 1,2,3,5 and 6.

So what do I use for 5 and 6 ?
I've attached the part of the wiring diagram I'm refering to. The swtich is I believe number 35.

On the standard switch contacts 1 and 2 are connected together when the switch is OFF and connects the flasher relay to the indicator switch. When the switch is ON contacts 3,4 amd 5 are connected together and connects the hazard flasher relay to all the indicators (left and right). Use a multimeter on the new switch to check which contacts are connected in the OFF and ON positions and you should be able to connect it up to mimic the standard switch operation.

Hope that helps!
