Nick Moore
What a coincidence, I just changed the A115 alternator on my Herald for a Nippon Denso teeny tiny alternator. If you're upgrading from a dynamo, you'll need a different mounting bracket - the casting that bolts to the block. If you already have an alternator then it should bolt straight in. I also 'upgraded' to an alloy mount, not because of the weight saving but because shiny alloy bits make me unnaturally happy ::)
Paul Garvey
Hey Nick - just read your blog update and was just going to e-mail you and check it would fit. Looks like it will so will grab. O'hauled, 45amp and $18 (7 pound).....cheap. Looked denso but $$$ at the moment post quake. Keep well.Paul
Nick Moore
Glad the Trumpy survived the quake - how's it coping with the laughingly called 'roads'?If you can find an $18 alternator you should probably buy a second.
