Ignition kit upgrade recommendations

Hello everyone
I already have a lumenition electronic ignition kit fitted to my mk2 spitfire,  but I think I have a dodgy set of HT leads on the car

I'm looking to buy a new set, and a new coil, complete with a new dizzy cap and rotor also. What coil and HT leads are best for better running and efficiency?

Are you using Optronic or Magnetronic sytem? Lumenition recommend a different coil for each system. Have a look at the TSSC shop. They sell all of the stuff you want. Cheers, Dave.

For leads, magencor are the best.

I bought some PowerTec leads for the Acclaim (options are limited) and they're perfectly fine and better quality than the two sets I've replaced in the 7 years I've owned it.

Thanks guys, it is the optometric system, so I will have a look and find some that suit this. I'm only wondering if they are on the way out as the car is running a bit rough and when I put the timing light on ht lead 1 it is working intermittently.
