looking to get a new set of carpets.

Need some help deciding best set to get Moulded or Tufted?

I fiited mx5 seats a couple of years back which resulted in a little massaging of the tunnel on drivers side to get it to sit properly. this is maling me think twice about a moulded set. the reshaping was less than an inch so doubt it'll have much impact depending on the "give" in the moulding.

What do people suggest?

Depends on budget I suppose.

Molded carpets cost approx £300. Templated tufted about a £100.

Personally, I molded my own (after cutting out templates) using the same spec carpet used on BMW mini. Looks great to me.

I got non moulded and got a trimmer to ft them. They weren't a great fit so moulded if I ever do again.
