esxefi
or you can grind a small dimple on the back of the hook where the roller sits when closed to make a more positive locking action, only remove a small amount at a time and check operation each time.worked for me. Nick Jones
Helps if the little roller on the back goes round and doesn't have a groove worn in it......You can buy them new though somewhat priceyhttp://www.europaspares.com/interior-parts/handles-locks/triumph-bonnet-catch.htmlthe usual suspects probably have them too.Nick

esxefi
yes slightly but I moved the body catch plate down a bit to compensate as it has some spring in it,that is why I said to only remove a tiny amount at a time and try it.

Casper
Long and rather bad tempered thread here : Sorry , link no longer availableBill is (as usual) perfectly correct. Good latches in good condition will work well. I had to examine loads of them at autojumbles to find a good pair, but I did and they've been fine since.C.
