Howard Posted April 8 Share Posted April 8 My experience with TR7 steering is that if it's correctly set up power steering is unnecessary. Lubrication with roller bearings at the top of the struts make a big difference. Also I normally run modern 185 tyres with slightly higher tyres pressure - previously continental contipro 4 28/30psi & currently Falkens with 34/34psi. I use my 7 as a daily drive so been upgrading various things , vented front discs with 4 pot calipers,EFI , LED headlights etc. Steering is fine on the 7 fitted roller bearing on the top but still heavy when manoeuvring out the garage.
