heraldcoupe
Hi Jessica,There aren't bolts as such. Each of the three locating points has a 1/4" stud, secured in the roof by a locknut. The studs protrude through the rear deck and are held by nuts & washers. Getting the angle right for putting studs or bolts up through the deck is going to be pretty difficult, I guess you've already discovered this! It might be easier with over-long studs, then cut them to length afterwards. You may be able to lift the back end enough to get a spanner on to tighten the locknuts, not something I've tried though. Otherwise the roof might have to come off to put in some new studs. The earliest Heralds had bolts at the back, quickly changed to studs in production, presumably to make installation easier.Cheers,Bill. Richard B
While your taking the roof off you might as well change the colour to match the bonnet.Anyone got a spare Herald Saloon Roof in Royal Blue?
heraldcoupe
I can do Alpine Mauve (choice of 2), Powder Blue or Black, but nothing here in Royal Blue. Cheers,Bill.

Richard B
Cheers Bill, I had'nt realised there were 3 holes I only saw two (it was dark). The middle one still had the stud, but no nut. After I managed to get that screwed back down I could then get a bold into the other two holes. Jessicas roof is now secure :)
