Lord Sorbington Posted March 17, 2007 Posted March 17, 2007 What is the correct coil for my 1969 mk2 2000? Should it be 6 or 12 volt?I have a new one which is marked '12v ballast', which I assume is correct for my car. Am I right?

Will stick the new coil on soonOn the other side of the coil are two capacitors which I assume are some sort of supressor. Thier connection has broken off long ago but there are no ill effects. Is preventing radio interference thier only function? My new CD radio works well so should I worry about the supressors?
