Dogsbody47uk Posted April 13, 2014 Share Posted April 13, 2014 My 1971 reg 13/60 saloon has a strap type propshaft. Removing the gearbox to fit a new clutch, I found that the prop was an incredibly tight fit between the gearbox flange and the diff flange. The workshop manual says "lever the prop flange and gearbox flange apart". Crowbar them apart would be more like it! Is this normal with this type of prop, or is there a problem?
