TedTaylor Posted June 16, 2014 Author Share Posted June 16, 2014 Well end of last week was really testing things out because I knew I had to do the journey on Sunday from the Forest to the TSG Committee meeting at Chievely near Newbury.Friday did 56 miles out to Chepstow then a couple of stops - Lydney for petrol after 15 miles and the boss had instructed me to get something from Bee&Q in Gloucester.Saturday did 56 mile round trip to Cheltenham to see if a machine shop was open to enquire about machining the Mk1 PI crank I acquired off ebay. Place was shut even though web site said it wasn't!Sunday the 70 mile trip to Chievely and then back. No problems and comfortable 70mph cruising in the Mk2 2500 estate.Knee still swollen like a balloon and aches a little at times but everything seem to have sorted itself out.Thanks for all the good wishes.MUT Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
