Casper
Search the site.Sorry , link no longer available for startersMany opinions/views exist, as to whether this can be done to proper standards without very major engineering.C.

dingdong
I have been looking at the threads on this subject, I think a possible solution to cut down on engineering and cutting would be to weld some 1" x 1/8 flat bar to the front of the channel around the back seat, this would effectively make it into box section adding strength. the flat bar could be let in at the top to allow the backseat overhang the channel as it sits now. Also the two pieces of channel which are vertical from floor to under the back seat channel could have 2" x 1/8 flat bar welded across this is also making a box section adding considerable strength. I will be looking into this as I have two grandsons who will need to be in car seats.Just an idea what do you think ?
