Vitesse Mark 2 Herald Panels

Is there any difference between a Vitesse Mk2 Front Wing and a Herald 13/60 front Wing.

I think 'yes' they are different! As somewhere in the back of my mind I remember people didn't like the modified (by supplier) 13/60 front wings when there were no Vitesse one's available. I think they welded a small V somewhere around the front curve.

I am sure someone will be along with the definitive answer in a while.

Yes, difference is around the headlight area, sort of under. Vitesse repro panels were qeyp with a V piece added to allow for the smaller vitesse headlights.

I ask because I have this panel I got from eBay as a herald panel but it appears slightly too long by about 1cm,also the front lip is pressed forward not back as I would expect.

They are most definitely different because of the 7 inch headlights of the 13/60 and the 5.75 inch fitted to the Vitesse. The Vitesse front wings are more expensive than those for the 13/60. Cheers, Dave.

It looks ok on the face of it but it appears longer. I have a front panel and placing next to it the fit is poor.
